www.plmf.ee The Tallinn Chamber Music Festival, conceived under great notice in 2005, is held in the historical halls and churches of one of the most beautiful capitals in the Baltic States. Spectators from Tallinn and all over Estonia together with foreign visitors experience many concerts altogether in the Tallinn Town Hall, the House of the Brotherhood of the Blackheads, St John's Church, and St Michael’s Swedish Lutheran Church. Performances will be carried out by almost 30 of the best known Estonian musicians. The Chamber Music Festival enriches Tallinn’s summertime cultural landscape and introduces Estonian music with an assortment of compositions. In addition to all of the above, it takes place at a time when most of the Estonian summer festivals are already over. The concert series organiser is the Pille Lill Music Fund. The Festival’s Artistic Director is singer, soprano Pille Lill. Tallinn’s music life has been linked to both composers for decades. |
